Nuxeo takes ECM to the cloud

With Nuxeo Cloud, solution and information architects can build a context-centric application without taxing internal IT infrastructure and resources. According to the company, the solution also enables organisations to manage their operating costs better, and allows them to scale up or down.

CMS Wire says that according to Roland Benedetii, Nuxeo VP of product and marketing, Nuxeo wanted to give architects and developers maximum flexibility to customise the solution to the organisation's needs.

He adds that the pricing model will give cash-strapped organisations a lot of flexibility in how they manage financial resources, and allow them to ramp up at their own pace.

According to Market Watch, a subscription includes testing and production, automated maintenance, access to the Nuxeo Connect portal, upgrades, Nuxeo Studio to customise an application and to Nuxeo Marketplace to extend with ready-made plug-ins.
