Oblix obtains SAP certification on mySAP technologies

Oblix, the leading developer of identity-based security solutions, today announced that it has received interface certification from SAP AG for Web single sign-on to the Pluggable Authentication Service of mySAP(tm) Internet Transaction Server (mySAP ITS). Oblix NetPoint`s integration with mySAP Technologies provides enterprise users the convenience of single sign-on to all Internet and/or intranet-based SAP(r) applications, as well as other enterprise applications protected by Oblix NetPoint. Because no custom development is needed, Oblix NetPoint now provides Web single sign-on to all Internet and/or intranet-based SAP applications virtually out-of-the-box. This integration enables enterprise users to log-on once to gain access to mySAP Technologies and other Oblix NetPoint protected e-business applications without having to re-authenticate at each application. Oblix continues its commitment to provide industry-standard based solutions by achieving this Web single sign-on using HTTP header variables, which is the industry standard mechanism used to pass information between trusted applications.

* Simplified Administration: Through Oblix NetPoint`s individual and group self-subscription model, end users can request access to the applications and information they need to do their jobs in real-time. For example, if an employee has been assigned the task of analyzing customer satisfaction data for the company, this user will need access to a variety of applications to perform in this new role. Oblix NetPoint`s workflow engine will then route the request to the user`s department manager for approval. As soon the request is approved, the user will immediately be granted access to mySAP solutions or other applications needed to complete the job.
