Oki Printing Solutions ships over 500,000 digital LED colour printers worldwide

Oki Printing Solutions have announced that a total of 500,000 Oki digital LED colour printers have been shipped worldwide since 1998. According to local representative for the Oki brand of printers - Printacom - 200,000 were shipped in the past 12 months alone, clearly demonstrating that Oki is becoming the preferred printing solutions partner of businesses.

Neil Rom, managing director of Printacom says, "The success of Oki`s Printing Solutions is also evident in Western Europe, where for the first quarter of 2005 Oki racked up 2nd place for its colour page printer shipment. Oki remains focused and passionate about developing innovative printing solutions that meet the specific needs of organisations, whatever their size."

"We will continue to raise our gambit in this area, targeting a shipment of 300,000 digital LED colour printers worldwide this year. That is a 50% increase on last year`s shipment of 200,000," adds Rom.

Oki Printing Solutions also recently introduced a new A3 digital LED colour printer and multifunction product. Through the use of innovative technology such as ProQ Multilevel, this compact new printer provides premium print quality achieved by the world`s first digital LED head. This technology also delivers the maximum of 32 levels of halftones per dot, producing subtler tones and smoother gradations, resulting in a photographic quality on all printed and copied documents.
