OKI Technologies, sole importers and distributors of OKI laser and dot matrix printers, has announced that it has changed its name - the company will now be known as Printacom (Pty) Ltd.
"We have decided to change our name to Printacom in order to reflect the fact that we intend to embrace other technologies in addition to the OKI product range," says Neil Rom, managing director of Printacom. He explains that the company wishes, in the future, to expand it`s product offering and therefore has opted for a more generic name.
"However, this should in no way be construed as a move away from the solutions offered by OKI printers - this will remain our core offering and we are committed to the quality and reliability of these machines," continues Rom.
"Printacom will remain the sole importer and distributor of OKI printers in South Africa; the conclusion of a recent partnership with international service firm Getronics will also ensure that all OKI owners can be reassured of top service and support for their machines countrywide," he concludes.
