OnLive brings Internet Explorer to iPad
Internet Explorer 9 and access to the company's super-fast cloud Internet service, Tech Radar reports.
The OnLive Desktop app first launched in January offering remote access to a full version of Windows 7 (including the in-demand Microsoft Office) through the company's servers.
Mercury News reports that, via the new service, iPad users can access a supercharged version of Microsoft's Internet Explorer within the OnLive Desktop app.
With this browser, users can view videos and play games streamed using Adobe's Flash technology, something they can't do using the iPad's built-in browser.
In coming months, the company will release its OnLive Desktop service for Android tablets, Tab Times writes.
Later in the year, OnLive Desktop collaborative services will provide live desktop spectating and sharing with voice functions for up to thousands of simultaneous users.
