Oracle 10g `strong performers`
Oracle has announced that the recently released Oracle content services 10g and Oracle records management 10g have been rated "strong performers" in the October 2005 report by Forrester Research titled The Forrester Wave: Enterprise Content Management Suites, Q3 2005.
"Oracle has made its entry into ECM with a very large splash," according to The Forrester Wave. "The vendor`s content services 10g has ECM breadth where it matters most to IT infrastructure decision-makers - data management and records management. In addition, the product scores well in suite readiness and offers a strong foundation with common administration, workflow, search and a single content repository. Oracle received high scores for its extended capabilities thanks to Oracle Fusion Middleware capabilities that encompass team collaboration, business process management and enterprise search," the research stated.

Open Text on MS SQL Server 2005
Open Text, an independent provider of enterprise content management (ECM) software, announced that it has committed to offering Open Text`s Artesia Digital Asset Management (DAM) solution for the Microsoft SQL Server 2005 database platform to help customers more effectively manage digital assets, reports CCNMatthews.
