Panda debuts new programme

Panda Security is debuting its new US partner programme, called P3, says ChannelWeb.

P3 allows resellers to take products to customers in their preferred way, be it software, appliances or managed services.

The move to ease deployment is part of the company's global effort to foster a good relationship with resellers and move toward adopting a purely channel sales model.

Citrix chooses Ingram Micro

Citrix has confirmed that as of 30 August, Ingram Micro will become its preferred authorised distribution partner for North America, reports Education Channel Partner.

Products affected by the deal include Citrix XenApp, Citrix XenDesktop, Citrix XenServer, Citrix NetScaler, Citrix Access Gateway, Citrix WANScaler, and Citrix Provisioning Server.

Channel benefits include a new Ingram-Citrix Smart Enablement programme, providing sales incentives to eligible Citrix Solution Advisors; increased partner resources, including marketing tools, technical support, and business development opportunities; and programmes and resources intended to expand partner knowledge of the Citrix product line.

IronKey recruits resellers

A maker of secure USB flash drives, US-based IronKey, says it will recruit new security resellers to its global channel partner programme to tap the increasing corporate concern over data leakage deriving from misplaced or stolen portable storage devices, says eChannelLine.

IronKey's partner programme comprises over 100 value-added resellers (VARs) in the UK, France, Germany, Switzerland, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Norway, Canada and the US.

IronKey won't restrict the number of new VARs it signs up, but it would insist on inking only those resellers that have a security practice comprising at least 30% of its overall business.
