Paracon Resourcing, a division of JSE-listed Paracon, has acquired Cape Town-based Skillsnet Recruitment, which specialises in the recruitment of permanent personnel for IT and supply chain companies.
Skillsnet will operate as a subsidiary of Paracon and will be based at the group`s Cape Town office.
"Skillsnet Recruitment has been trading nationally for three years and has built up a reputation of excellence among a select group of companies in the IT and supply chain arenas, specifically at higher executive levels and within a few high-demand niche markets," says Paracon Resourcing MD Graham Bentley.
"The company is the ideal complement to our well-established contractor recruitment offering in the Western Cape."
Skillsnet director Charlie Hayward will be responsible for expanding Paracon`s capabilities in the permanent recruitment arena.
"We have been geared for growth and progression in our chosen market space," Hayward says.
"Paracon offered us a value-add partnership into additional services, exposure to other skills markets and the opportunity to position Skillsnet within the greater SA through our combined focused business models," she says.
