Patersons releases online community
Patersons HR and Payroll has unveiled its online community, which is specifically designed for its customers, partners and prospects, according to PR Newswire.
The 24/7 Web-based destination is a "one-stop shop" to address worldwide HR and payroll requirements.
Visitors will be able to access online global price quotations, online user guides, online access to product information, up-to-date news stories, and the ability to network with other global HR and payroll professionals.
G&A acquires HourDoc.com
G&A Partners, a fully-integrated Houston-based human resource (HR) and administrative services company, has acquired a majority interest in HourDoc.com, a time and labour management technology company, according to Business Wire.
HourDoc's time and labour management system, also called HourDoc.com, is a scalable, Web-based protocol that provides companies advanced online tools to monitor and manage their employees.
In addition to tracking employees' time and attendance, HourDoc allows companies to tap into real-time labour data on-demand, anytime or anywhere, so employers can assess their immediate staffing needs and manage or adjust employees' schedules accordingly.
NHS hits million user mark
According to CBR, Oracle has announced that the NHS has become one of the world's largest users of its Human Resources Management System and Oracle Payroll system.
Simon Willcock, NHS ESR programme director, said: "We are delighted to have reached the one million user mark because it really demonstrates how technology can be used to bring about cost-efficiencies and service improvements in the public sector."
Implementation of Oracle Human Resources Management System and Oracle Payroll is taking place in stages. Stage 12, the final stage, is scheduled for completion in spring 2008, bringing the total number of users to 1.2 million.
