PC-PoS South Africa, the local subsidiary of international point-of-sale vendor, PC-PoS Inc, has announced that it has sold more than 70 000 Epson printers into the local retail and hospitality industries via its national and cross-border reseller channel.
This announcement comes after the company recently supplied an additional 400 Epson printers to the SA Post Office, over and above the 5 000 units sold in 1999. The printers are to be used at post office outlets around the country to print customer receipts.
PC-PoS is better know as a global supplier of the DigiPoS range of EPoS systems, more than 50 000 of which have been sold worldwide since the launch of the brand in the mid-nineties. PC-PoS South Africa started selling the Epson printer range in 1993 and almost all of the DigiPoS systems sold have included an Epson printer.
Thanks to the company`s strong reseller base, which it has continued to grow and develop for 10 years, the company is now making inroads into numerous countries outside SA, especially Zimbabwe, Namibia and Botswana.
