PC-Ware continued growth as world-class ICT solution provider

Johannesburg, 26 Feb 2009

PC-Ware proudly announced that from January 2009 it has occupied its new offices, in PC-Ware Venture House, in Peter Place Office Park, in Bryanston.

Managing Director Maurice Staal explains: "After a year of continuous growth, it was decided to move to new offices. PC-Ware's strategic BEE shareholder, Lefatshe Technologies PC-Ware, is next door in the same business park, and therefore, both sales teams will work closer to establish synergies for both customer companies."

PC-Ware renewed its official BEE certificate and has reached a level 2 contributor to BBBEE with a 125% procurement recognition, for the second year in a row.

PC-Ware is one of the few Pan EMEA Microsoft large account resellers in South Africa, providing software asset management services and Microsoft Volume Licensing in South Africa and the rest in Africa. The BEE partner, Lefatshe, will leverage PC-Ware's knowledge around licensing, and can now provide turnaround solutions to its customers that include licensing from the start.

As a specialised ICT solution provider operating in Africa, Europe and Asia, PC-Ware offers its customers a portfolio of services like software licensing procurement, consulting and implementations, support and services and customised ICT solutions.

Staal adds: “Our personal approach has made PC-WARE successful. We have a team of certified quality focused employees; we are transparent to our customers and fulfil customer-specific procurement requirements with the most favourable purchasing conditions, for example through our unique customer portal. If companies in the market have not seen our portal, they are missing out on something special, and it's free to all our customers, just like that. Furthermore, we have been working hard on the development of our licensing library database, DNA. It already created compliancy reports from SCCM and Altiris, but now we are in the testing phase for 21 other systems, such as Zenworks, Tivoli, etc. If successfully completed, we will start selling our new updated SAM services from March 2009.”

PC-Ware has developed its own solution for software asset management that not only guarantees transparency in the internal IT landscape, but also legal security, an increase in efficiency and a reduction in costs. The company provides all its customers with a central platform for their IT management, which is called Procerva, the unique customer portal, at no cost. It is something new in South Africa and most of PC-Ware's customers are using this intensively.

Over the next few years, PC-Ware expects the expansion will continue in Africa and on the African continent, despite the economic meltdown in the rest of the world.
