Two Minolta-QMS laser printers received 2001 World-Class Awards from the editors of PC World at a presentation held in conjunction with the recent PC Expo.
PC World rewarded the magicolor 2200 GN for ranking as Best Buy on the magazine`s Top Ten Colour Laser Printer chart since March 2001, and the PagePro 1100L for maintaining a prime position on its Top Ten Small Business/Home Laser printer chart since September 2000. Both printers offer convenient, high-quality and affordable printing at a competitive price.
In reviewing the magicolor 2200 GN, PC World said the printer, with its low price and high output, might signal a trend in business printing. Perhaps the days of colour-monochrome compromise have come to an end, the report read, now that a colour laser can deliver the same quality of text as an office monochrome laser printer at almost the same speed.
The magazine had similarly high praise for the PagePro 1100L, saying it costs less than any other laser printer on the chart, and it keeps up with the pack on text, at 8,6 pages per minute. Even better, its graphics speed of 4,7ppm races ahead of the herd.
