PeopleSoft South Africa has launched its Equity Reporting module for new and existing customers.
The module supplements the PeopleSoft Human Resource Management System (HRMS) to make it 100% compliant with the latest equity reporting legislation.
Jan Coetzee, managing director of PeopleSoft South Africa, reports that the company concentrates on monitoring local market trends and requirements in order to add value to its existing solutions. "By keeping up with what our customers need, we aim to protect their investments in PeopleSoft products and give them the opportunity to become leaders in their respective markets," he says.
"The legislation compliance is not an option - it is a necessity," continues Coetzee. "Companies cannot afford to ignore the reporting requirements."
According to Kort Ploshay, manager PeopleSoft HRMS product strategy, the development of the Equity Reporting module brought together information from many pre-existing areas of the PeopleSoft HRMS solution. "The true enterprise architecture of the application makes it possible to seamlessly access information from all functional areas," explains Ploshay.
The Personal information area provides designated group information; Competency Management and Training Administrating provide information on individual skills profiles, as well as training completed and training scheduled in the future; Labour Relations provides information about disciplinary actions; and Job Data tracks movement as well as current compensation and occupation level.
PeopleSoft customers may use their existing HR organisational configuration, or define their own Equity reporting establishments, departments, and locations. A flexible configuration requires knowledgeable set up and base line establishment. In addition, PeopleSoft Consulting services offer installation and set up packages tailored to the level of experience and available resource and at each customer`s site.
