Peregrine, ICL take e-procurement to 61 000 users in UK

Peregrine Systems, Inc and its strategic ICL have announced the deployment of Peregrine`s Get.Resources! software at eight of ICL`s top tier managed service accounts. This takes Peregrine`s e- software to more than 61 000 users in the UK, making it a global leader in the e-commerce market.

Get.Resources! is the first application in Peregrine`s Get.It! employee self-service product suite. The accounts involved in the deployment are users seeking to drive down cost and improve efficiencies in their procurement processes.

Over the past year, ICL has been deploying Peregrine`s ServiceCenter and AssetCenter to enhance its managed service capability in its European client base. This latest service enhancement has enabled clients to leverage full lifecycle management, from procurement to disposal of corporate assets.

ICL has also positioned these clients to be able to exploit the B2B e-commerce potential of this service offering, by linking Peregrine Get.Resources! to e-business market sites and providing a catalogue purchasing capability, which controls and helps reduce the cost of purchased assets. In addition it will also enable these clients to build greatly enhanced employee self-service offerings for use over the and their own intranet sites.
