CommerceQuest Inc has announced the launch of a brand new product, MQTester for LoadRunner. MQTester for LoadRunner combines the strength of the trusted MQSeries messaging backbone, with the power of Mercury Interactive`s proven load testing solutions. This plug-in is currently the only way to test MQSeries-based systems using LoadRunner, and enables users to perform capacity planning, identify production bottlenecks and execute load and stress testing of MQSeries-based applications and systems.
MQTester for LoadRunner provides a complete solution for predicting the behaviour and performance of MQSeries-based systems under actual user loads. MQTester for Loadrunner records the actual MQI API function calls from the MQSeries application under test, then generates a test script. The script can be enhanced as required and played back to simulate one user or thousands making concurrent demands on the system.
The increasing demand for enterprise-wide and cross-enterprise information sharing has fed the growing popularity of the IBM MQSeries for message queueing. At the same time, the accelerated pace of business and technological development, combined with ever-greater competitive pressures, has expanded the need for rapid, accurate testing and prediction of system performance under load.
