PIC Solutions recently completed the research and delivery of a comprehensive credit risk best practices training manual for Visa International.
Over a three-month period, a team of PIC consultants researched the factors that impact Visa member banks in the Central Europe Middle East Africa region. Once the causal factors influencing credit dynamics were identified and analysed, it was possible to complete the best practices manual to address the region-specific challenges.
The manual makes many recommendations and provides solutions that can be implemented across the entire credit card lifecycle, from account origination to profitable ongoing account management. The focus is on practical tips and strategies to address the CEMEA region`s specific credit and risk challenges.
The completion of this manual follows the successful Visa credit risk best practices seminars initiative that was completed in 2001. This was delivered by PIC personnel to over 200 attendees from banks in Bahrain, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Kuwait, Latvia, Lithuania, Oman, Poland, Qatar, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia and the United Arab Emirates.
