The focus for this year`s conference is on the intelligence layer of business - the business of discovering, creating and disseminating actionable intelligence.

Members of the PIC Solutions Scoring and Modelling team will present papers on:

* Scorecard monitoring - Survival of the fittest.

* Challenges and considerations of in-house scorecard development.

In addition to these two presentations, PIC Solutions will also exhibit at the event, providing delegates with the opportunity to stop by and meet scoring and modelling professionals, who will be on hand to discuss any industry queries or concerns.

Bayan Dekker, Director of the Scoring and Modelling team at PIC Solutions, states: "Organisations that do not embrace best practice scoring principles are finding it increasingly difficult to maintain market share and maximise long-term profitability. We are delighted to have been selected by SAS Institute to deliver these two papers at the 2002 SUGISA Conference, as there have been a number of exciting new initiatives in the credit scoring arena, which will be of great interest and practical benefit to the delegates."
