Pink Software announce the release of TurboCASH T3 for Windows and the Internet

Pink has announced its e-commerce . Lesley Copeman, General Manger of Pink said, "Our future for TurboCASH is bound to the and in particular our partnership is with Lotus. They provide us with Domino technology for the server side and Lotus SmartSuite as a complement to TurboCASH on the client side."

Pink has also announced that it will begin shipping TurboCASH T3, its long awaited Windows upgrade, from April.

Copeman added, "No SME user can ignore the influence that the Internet has on his competitiveness and productivity. What makes the accounting package so important is that it is a repository for the vital information of any small business. Using TurboCASH, users already have 90% of the data required to run a successful e-commerce site."

TurboCASH is an entry level accounting package with an emphasis on General Ledger, Debtors Creditors and Cashbook, but also including Stock and Invoicing.

Copeman said, "TurboCASH T3 retains the ease of use that our 10 000 users know us for, but includes modern facilities which allow them to fax and e-mail reports and statements directly from the package. It is easy to extract Data from TurboCASH T3 for use on the Web and for manipulation in TurboCASH T3."

Max McLaren, MD of Lotus South Africa, is delighted at Pink`s choice of technology. "This fits in with a key strategy for Lotus. We see Pink Software as an Application Service Provider and Domino as the backbone of that service. By running a number of Domino Web sites Pink is able to make access to business to business e-commerce easily available to its SME customer base."
