Plantronics South Africa today launched its latest Bluetooth headset for mobile phones, the M3000. Designed for comfort, the revolutionary M3000 is the world`s first Bluetooth headset with up to eight hours of talk time.
The M3000 offers up to 200 hours standby time and alerts users to incoming calls. It also allows users to move up to 10 metres away from their phones and still answer or make calls with the headset.
Comments Jacques Sylvander, Plantronics EMEA Mobile Marketing Manager: "The small and light design of the M3000 is the perfect combination of functionality and style. The M3000 is also packed with advanced features that are easy to use. The one-touch answer/end button lets you take and make calls easily, and offers the ability to adjust the volume of the call to suit the volume levels of the environment."
The mute function is especially useful for conference calls, while the M3000 supports the voice dialling function. "This means users can free their hands completely by using the voice commands facility," adds Sylvander.
Additionally, the noise-cancelling technology in the microphone enhances the clarity of speech, ensuring that the user`s voice is transmitted with fidelity and accuracy without distracting background noise.
The M3000 uses the worldwide Bluetooth industry standard, and as it supports both headset and hands-free profiles, it ensures compatibility with all Bluetooth-enabled mobile phones on the market today.
The M3000 retails at approximately R1 200, incl VAT and is available at selected specialised cellular outlets. For more information, phone 0800 22 0202 or visit http://www.plantronics.com/.
