PNA and IQ Retail have entered into a partnership for the installation of the new version of the IQ Enterprise software system, for retail clients with franchise operations.
The result will be a business model that allows for group reporting and modifications specific to a franchise to be developed for the group as a whole on a single system, says PNA.
Graham Sindall, marketing manager of IQ Retail, says: “All the PNA stores will be converted to IQ Enterprise, which will then allow head office to get consolidated reports and figures to assist with strategic and buying decisions for the group. Modifications and custom modules are also being added to the system to accommodate the specific needs of the PNA group.”
PNA hopes the system will result in uniformity and full integration while remaining user-friendly. According to Sindall, the IQ Retail software is designed to cater for SMEs and large businesses with complicated infrastructure - especially companies with multiple outlets, countrywide. This means one simple, consistent user-interface is utilised and all the stores will have the same functionality, he adds.
“With the ability to define trading and information branches, departments and reporting groups, the businesses that run IQ Enterprise gain an advantage when it comes to reporting across the organisation. Consolidated financial statements as well as the ability to report on a specific part of an organisation, give comprehensive views of entity performance,” concludes Sindall.
