The Democratic Alliance (DA) has introduced a service to podcast speeches and statements by DA leader Tony Leon.
The first podcast has gone live on the DA`s Web site.
Users of iPods and other MP3 players can subscribe to the podcast service by adding the feed: http://feeds.feedburner.com/DemocraticAlliancePodcast to a "podcatcher", like Apple`s iTunes.
The podcatcher will then automatically update the MP3 player when new episodes of the podcast are available.
Leon announced the podcast service at King David`s High School in Johannesburg today.
"A new kind of freedom is enhancing our political freedom. Technology like MP3 players, blogs and podcasts give people the chance to have their voices heard around the world - and choose who, or what, they want to listen to," he said.
