Comverse has announced that TMN -Telecomunicac~oes Moveis Nacionais S.A., Portugal`s largest wireless operator, has deployed Comverse`s VoiCD solution, which offers a comprehensive music and entertainment environment for cellphone subscribers.
VoiCD services enable phone subscribers to listen to music and dedicate and send songs and jokes to other subscribers. Subscribers can also use a virtual recording studio to create fun greetings for their voice mailbox that feature music, special sound effects and humorous elements.
VoiCD`s extensive music portfolio, secured through agreements with leading industry suppliers, such as Zomba and BMG, includes well-known classic songs, popular new releases, international hits and local popular content. The topic-categorised music is accessible for dedications by telephone or through the TMN Web or WAP homepage.
