Apple Centre Centurion, the biggest reseller of Apple Macs in the greater Pretoria region, has won a tender from the offices of the Gauteng Premier to install two Apple Macintosh G4800s as well as accessories, including CD writers, monitors and DAT drives.
The contract, signed with the communications department, is worth R105 000 and follows the winning of a R750 000 tender to supply the Department of Labour`s communications department with Apple computers and Tektronix printers.
The company also won a contract to supply the Department of Home Affair`s communications department with an Apple i-Book laptop and software.
The Department of Labour was supplied with two top range dual processor G4 Apple Macs, complete with 22-inch Cinema displays, two Tektronic printers - including a colour printer - and various accessories.
