Martin Rennhackkamp and Cor Winckler presented papers at the annual conference of the SAS User Group of South Africa (SUGISA 2002), held at Gallagher Estate, Midrand, on 8 and 9 October 2002. The theme of the conference was "Beyond Intelligence".
Martin Rennhackkamp presented a paper about Data Warehouse Revitalisation - this is a very apt topic in an era where businesses require their Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing systems to start producing real value to the business.
Cor Winckler`s paper was titled "Test driving SAS`s SPDS Server for Star Schema Data Warehouse exploitation". It showed how SAS can be used to implement properly designed star schemas very efficiently using SAS`s SPDS server.
