Printacom has announced the new OKI C9000 series of colour printers. The range features an A4 mono and colour printer for the networked department, with A3 and oversize A3 paper handling and printing.
The C9000 range of four models produces full colour printouts at 21 pages per minute, and mono at 26 pages per minute. Digital LED technology allows for single pass printing, resulting in increased image accuracy and reduced corner-to-corner distortion.
Neil Rom, Printacom MD, comments: "The C9000 series has the potential to transform the way the workgroup creates and prints mono and colour documents."
Rom adds that the series benefits include low cost of ownership, low user intervention levels and low demands on the environment.
Target markets include corporates, SMEs, the retail environment, print-for-pay outlets, graphic artists, motor trade, real estate and marketing industries, and the local government. Models in the C9000 range vary in price from R25 000 at the low end to R80 000 at the opposite end of the spectrum.
Other series highlights include paper input capacity expandable to 2 850 sheets, internal automatic duplexing, an internal hard disk drive for forms or macro handling, as well as flexible job management such as secure printing, and a "send once, print many" feature which allows for reduced network traffic.
