Among the organisations assisted by Printacom during the first half of this year are the Child Welfare Society, Child Line and Tomorrow Trust. The organisations received a C5700N colour, B6200 monochrome and C7350N digital colour printers respectively.
Apart from the donation of the hardware and consumables, this year the company has upped the ante by providing consumables replacement and basic maintenance training to the organisations it earmarked for assistance.
"Through appropriate training, bundled with top of the line printing hardware and consumables for a year, we believe we are making a tangible difference in these organisations' abilities to meet their stated objectives," says Neil Rom, managing director of Printacom.
"The value of the donations, including the consumables bundled in for a year, totals over R60 000. We're pleased our products are able to make such a difference in the community through these organisations," says Rom.
"With several other worthy causes already earmarked, we're looking forward to similar activities for the remainder of the year," he concludes.
