Business intelligence (BI) technology company ProClarity has announced it will make optimal use of Windows Presentation Foundation (formerly code-named "Avalon") in Microsoft Windows Vista to improve understanding when navigating through business data.
ProClarity provides analytic capabilities and data visualisations that empower even non-analytical users to explore and gain a better understanding of business information.
"Microsoft is pleased that ProClarity will support Windows Presentation Foundation in its business intelligence solutions," says Forest Key, group product manager of the .NET Developer Product Marketing Group at Microsoft. "By building its solutions on top of Windows Presentation Foundation, ProClarity is providing end-users with a more sophisticated and robust experience when navigating through business data."
ProClarity has also attained Microsoft .NET Connected designation for its ProClarity Analytics Platform. Microsoft awards .NET Connected status to solutions that connect through Web services and are optimised for next-generation Internet-enabled computing. The ProClarity Analytics Platform passed review by Verisign, a leader in outsourced testing and certification, validating its support for industry standards and interoperability.

"The company plans to take advantage of the .NET Framework and the new animation and static drawing abilities in Windows Presentation Foundation to enhance the analytic capabilities in ProClarity that allow users to understand complex data and make more informed business decisions."
