Progress offers OS project management
Progress Software has unveiled Fuse Forge, a collaborative environment for developing open source projects based on Progress Fuse products, states BeyeNetwork.
The Progress Fuse product line includes productised versions of Apache ServiceMix, ActiveMQ, CXF and Camel.
Fuse components are standards-based, open source enterprise integration tools based on popular Apache SOA projects, and are productised and supported by the people who contribute to and influence the Apache projects.
Project Insight upgrades portfolio
Project Insight has released version 8.1 with advanced portfolio roll-ups, tiered timesheet approvals, additional custom fields, and enhanced search, reports Enhance News Online.
Project Insight helps project teams like American Honda and Tempur-pedic collaborate on project schedules, share documents and assets, allocate project resources, and run real-time reports from anywhere in the world.

The release includes a radical new approach to project management, according to the company.
The company has built a complete Project Planner which includes all of the commonly used features offered by Microsoft Project, and more.
