Project management opens up
Project Management Training Online now accepts credit card payments from potential learners outside the US, reports OpenPR.
Previously, only credit cards with US billing addresses were accepted, although customers outside the US could use PayPal. Now customers from these countries that prefer not to use PayPal - or cannot get it - will enjoy the convenience of being able to use the credit cards directly.
"We have experienced a significant demand from aspiring PMPs in countries outside the US. We have also seen a great deal of interest from non-US based professional project managers with an interest in our courses for earning Professional Development Units to keep their PMP current," says PMP president John Reiling.
SSS helps Bailiwick manage IT projects
Synergistic Software Solutions (SSS) has assisted Bailiwick Data Systems to implement a Sage MAS 500 accounting and ERP solution to help it manage large-scale IT projects that encompass a complex coordination of people, materials and equipment, according to PRWeb.
Bailiwick's customers include some of the US's largest retailers, which often roll-out hundreds of sites simultaneously. Using the solution, Bailiwick has an accurate and current picture of the profitability and status of each of its projects.
"With our new solution, we have measurement tools that allow us to analyse business processes and see what's effective and profitable and what isn't," says Bailiwick business analyst Missy Carbonneau.
TeamDynamix expands project tracking software
TeamDynamix has added TDTicketing, a help-desk ticketing module, to v4.0 of its project tracking software for mid-sized companies, according to PRWeb.
TDTicketing can integrate into a comprehensive project management software system, the report says.
All data generated within the ticketing module provides critical insight into a company's true resource allocation, capacity and cost of doing business, it says.
