Technology has transformed the world we live in. It's a process that is continuously accelerating. To survive, thrive and beat the competition in today's brutally competitive world, one has to manage the future.
Managing the future means managing information. Information technology is revolutionising the way in which we live, work and play. It is changing all aspects of life and lifestyle.
The digital revolution has given us the ability to treat information with mathematical precision, to transmit it with very high accuracy and to manipulate it at will. Computers and the Internet is one of our greatest inventions. The Internet, introduced to consumers in 1996, has grown immensely over the past decade.
While other technologies took up to 38 years to reach 50 million people, the Internet only took four years to reach well over 50 million users. Computers are now the largest consumer goods for access to communication and storage. With a computer, the user can access information from almost anywhere.
Ahead of the technological revolution lies an organisation that prides itself on people, product and passion. Proline is a South African brand at the forefront of innovation and first to market with new technologies and ideas.
Proline Computers supplies products to the South African consumer landscape that are superior in performance and durability. Proline PCs, servers and notebook computers are manufactured in a modern ISO 9001 certified assembly-line capable of producing up to 12 000 units per month.
Proline addresses the needs of all IT user types from private individuals to the largest commercial, industrial and government users. These are African needs and we meet them in a way that only a proudly South African company could: By manufacturing the Proline range to be robust enough to deal with our unique way of “transporting” machines around our country; by adding extra fans to keep them cool in the hot African environment we live and work in; and by making sure our power supplies can handle our power grid!
In keeping in line with Proline's approach to superior product and passion for excellence, we introduce a brand new Proline range:
Homeware, Officeware, Nanoware

Proline's Homeware, Officeware and Nanoware includes the Proline Operating System Deployment tool with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturers) activation, this means customer activation or CD-Key input is no longer required. This range also has an automated image capturing and deployment system, with guaranteed consistency, with all images prepared by the R&D division.
The Proline recovery tool installed in this range allows your information to be re-stored if there is a malfunction on the operating system. Value added services include custom image deployment, maintenance and management, as well as customised product marking/asset tagging and document insertion. The Proline range furthermore has a local relevance programme, unique to local original equipment manufacturers, with local links and favourites, RSS feeds and languages.
