Further to its announcement in June, Pinnacle Micro is proud to announce that its OfficePro 800 range of PCs has also been awarded the Microsoft PC99 certification for Windows 98, Windows 2000, and Windows ME.
This is particularly noteworthy as the OfficePro range of PCs uses the Intel 815e chipset, which was only recently released by Intel. The 815e chipset has an integrated 2D / 3D graphics engine, but also allows for 1X / 2X /4X AGP modes, via a dedicated AGP slot. There is also onboard AC97 sound.
Chris Ayres, Proline marketing manager says, "this certification is further evidence that Proline PCs are at the forefront of technology, both in terms of components used, and the ISO9002 assembly processes implemented".
Other notable features are DIE-HARD BIOS, Communications Network Riser (CNR) slot, Suspend to Disk, Suspend to RAM, ATA100, and clock speeds of 66 / 100 / 133 MHz, which allows the use of the latest Intel Pentium Plll and Celeron processors.
