The ProScan Group scored favourably in the recent BEE assessment and verification process, achieving a BEE status as a Level 6 Contributor rated on a Narrow-Based Scorecard for its parent company, ProScan Systems, and a Level 3 Contributor on the Qualifying Small Enterprise Scorecard for its sister company, ProScan Media Products.
This follows ProScan`s commitment to and investment in the seven pillars of broad-based BEE (black economic empowerment).
Within a five-year period, ProScan has become a leading distributor of a wide range of bar coding, data collection, RFID, wireless networking, and mobile technologies servicing the retail, consumer goods, transport and logistics and manufacturing industries across southern Africa.
Sister company, ProScan Media Products (PMP), focuses on the production and supply of bar code labelling products and printing solutions, and in a short two-year period, has become a major provider of an extensive range of media consumables to the data collection industry in southern Africa.
