Protection Centre is total peace of mind

Johannesburg, 08 Apr 2009

With eight standard socket outlets, a high performance lightning arrester, and a UPS with 30 minutes' battery back-up time for a typical PC, the Protection Centre, from Eaton Power Quality, is the first three-in-one product offering in a single device.

In a nutshell, the Protection Centre is total peace of mind for the user - simply plug it in and your equipment is protected against breakdown and current fluctuations, says Evershree Mathadeen, Distribution Channel Manager at Eaton Power Quality.

One model is suitable for any type of application and the device offers two versions of protection - 600VA/360W and 750VA/450W backup power - for the basic PC, the family multimedia computer and its peripherals, or a “beefed-up” graphics configuration. Each version delivers data line protection to ensure the Internet modem link, including ADSL, is protected against voltage surges.

The 600VA Protection Centre retails for R1 862 and the 750VA for R2 098, including VAT. For more information, visit http://www.eaton.com/mgeops.
