Proxy releases Pro 6.10

Proxy Networks announced that its latest upgrade, version 6.10 of Proxy Pro, offers enhanced features such as support of remote desktop services, including screen recording, for thin clients supporting terminal services sessions, reports TMCnet.

Officials at the company say its latest solution is unlike similar output products because it does not require mini software apps that require frequent checking to be run on the computer and its connected screen.

The solution goes one step further and interoperates with terminal services sessions at the terminal server, allowing for highly efficient screen capture and seamless frame recording, remote control and remote monitoring, say official sources.

Networking solutions provider Netgear has unveiled the RangeMax Wireless-N Router, WNR3500, says Techtree.

The WNR3500 allows users to surf, e-mail, stream HD video, play online games and make Internet phone calls concurrently.

As per the company, the Wireless-N technology and Gigabit Ethernet port delivers exceptional range and enhanced wired network connections.

The wireless network scanner inSSIDer can be used to quickly scan the area for wireless networks, states Ghacks.

The software program works well with Windows Vista and Windows XP and can quickly display all wireless networks in the vicinity.

A network adapter has to be selected to start the scanning. All discovered wireless networks are then added to a table in the same interface which lists information like their MAC address, SSID, channel, security and network speed.
