In the 22 February 2010 published 2010 Magic Quadrant for Business Process Analysis Tools report, the world's leading information technology research and advisory company Gartner lists QPR Software among the most prominent vendors in the world with its QPR ProcessGuide business process analysis software.
Gartner recognises that QPR tools are well suited to business process modelling and analysis as they support corporate performance management, risk and compliance, and by integrating easily to MS Office and MS SharePoint they allow process discovery of existing assets. The reporting features make it easy to develop re-usable reports that can be dynamically linked to physical processes. By fully supporting 26 languages and translation of process models, QPR ProcessGuide allows easy internalisation of all process assets.
“We are honoured to be recognised by Gartner as a specialist in business process modelling and analysis, in the company of many of the largest software vendors in the world. It confirms our software stands out in the competition and that our continuous effort to innovate together with our customers is bearing fruit,” says Tony Virtanen, Vice-President, Products & Technology at QPR Software.
Gartner envisions that market for business process analysis (BPA) software will grow 10% in the following three to four years. Gartner further expects the number of BPA users to grow even faster, and BPA software adoption to reach the mass user.
“We have always believed that organisations need to widely engage their employees in business process development in order to capitalise on the knowledge within the organisation and gain a sustainable competitive edge. Our tools are specifically designed with the needs of both the business user and ICT experts in mind. Consequently, our customers already typically deploy our BPA tools not only to the process improvement experts, but also to hundreds of other users, continues Virtanen.
QPR ProcessGuide is available as a system solution with centralised storage and management of process content as well as a standalone desktop version; QPR ProcessGuide Xpress.
QPR ProcessGuide is part of the QPR 8 software suite, an easy-to-use, ready-to-run software that combines process modelling and analysis (QPR ProcessGuide), performance management and measurement (QPR ScoreCard), and business intelligence (QPR FactView) into one complete solution for process management, quality management, risk management and compliance. The latest version of the QPR management suite, QPR 8.1, was launched in October 2009 under the theme “Processes for masses”. QPR product family is fully compatible with Microsoft's Windows 7 operating system.
