Quadro FX 370: High performance, low price

Johannesburg, 03 Feb 2009

The Nvidia Quadro FX 370, from Axiz, is designed to deliver the performance, stability and professional features of its Quadro workstation graphics to small form factor desktop PCs. This opens up the benefits of professional graphics to a whole new market at an entry-level price, says Nicole Jones, Axiz Product Manager: Graphic Cards.

The product is perfect for Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Digital Content Creation (DCC) customers who want Quadro FX performance, stability, ISV certification and high-level display quality, she says.

“Engineered to fit into a compact desktop system, the Quadro FX 370 performs with fanless cooling for a quieter working environment and, taking advantage of Nvidia's unified architecture, it allocates geometry, shading, and compute processing power to deliver optimised graphics performance.”

The 256MB GDDR2 frame buffer makes the Quadro FX 370 Microsoft Vista-ready and capable of displaying the full Windows Aero user interface. Shader Model 4.0 enables next-generation ultra-realistic, real-time OpenGL and DirectX 10 applications. The Quadro FX 370 can drive digital displays at resolutions up to 1920x1200 at 60Hz and analogue displays at resolutions up to 2040x1536 at 85Hz.

The recommended retail price is available on request. For more information, contact Nicole Jones, Axiz Product Manager: Graphic Cards, on 011 237 7228, email: nicoled@axiz.co.za, or visit www.axiz.com.
