QuartzIT Technologies, the South African distributor for Liberty Information Management System (Liberty IMS), has supplied the LibertNET Document Management System to the University of Pretoria.

Pietdrie Muller, assistant director of technology and data management, commented that the University of Pretoria opted for LibertyNET after an in-depth comparative study was launched that stretched over almost two years.
During the study, the University of Pretoria found that LibertyNET has an excellent out-of-the-box functionality/price ratio in comparison to other document management systems.
Paul Wright, director of QuartzIT, says the company opted to introduce LibertyNET as a document management system in SA as it seamlessly integrates with QuartzIT`s existing suite of products, primarily centred around electronic document delivery, capture and processing.
