Rainbow wins Network World`s review of e-commerce accelerators

Rainbow Technologies, a leading provider of high-performance security solutions for the Internet and eCommerce, today announced that the company`s CryptoSwift 600 eCommerce accelerator won a comparative product review of cryptographic accelerators from Network World. Rainbow`s CryptoSwift 600 beat nCipher`s nForce 300 in areas of overall performance, number of transactions per second (TPS), management, and security.

The editors wrote, "For its outstanding performance, comprehensive management, ease-of-use, and overall value, the CryptoSwift 600 wins our Blue Ribbon Award the CryptoSwift 600 outperformed the nForce 300 at every turn: response times were lower, the number of transactions handled was greater, and the number of simultaneous connections was higher."
