ProjectManager.com offers PM suite

ProjectManager.com has announced a software suite for the management of project teams, reports MSNBC.

With an intelligent project dashboard, project planner and reports, teams can log in and track their progress online.

“We have used every piece of available technology to offer project managers and teams the latest in online project management. Customers can log in from anywhere in the world, at any time of the day or night, to check on the status of their projects, and the beauty is that it's always up to date,” says Craig Nicholson, ProjectManager.com technical director.

ABB sets up global COE

ABB, a global power and technology group, has set up a centre of excellence (COE) in Kolkata, says Business Standard.

This centre will deliver engineering and project management solutions to ABB's customers in the metals segment across the world.

Biplab Majumder, MD of ABB India, says: “In these times of recession and given the low confidence levels in the economy, this is another opportunity for our customers to further cut down on their operating costs. It will support the global sales team of ABB in the areas of marketing, process know-how, engineering, project management and commissioning.”
