The world`s largest independent memory manufacturer Kingston Technology Company recently appointed Rectron as its official distributor for South Africa.
This appointment confirms Rectron`s growing position as one of the country`s foremost distributors of world-class products and also strengthens its memory offerings to the channel.
According to Michael Hann, Gigabyte Technology and components product manager at Rectron, the channel has reacted positively to the news and sales are booming.
Rectron distributes Kingston`s ranges of desktop memory, USB flash drives and CompactFlashes to its South African reseller base. "Kingston is the world`s premier memory manufacturer and is used by foremost IT players such as Toshiba and HP," he adds.
"Furthermore, despite the products` well-known reputation, they are still reasonably priced and therefore readily available to our customer base," concludes Hann.
