Red Hat updates Linux solution

Red Hat, provider of open source solutions, has released Red Hat Network Satellite 5.3, the latest version of Red Hat's on-premises systems management solution, reports AME Info.

The solution provides software updates, configuration management, provisioning and monitoring across both physical and virtual Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers.

Red Hat Network Satellite 5.3 is globally available and is automatically delivered to customers with a Red Hat Network Satellite subscription.

Radware, a provider of integrated application delivery solutions for business-smart networking, has completed Oracle validated integration testing for the integration of AppDirector 2.0.01, according to RFP Connect.

AppDirector is Radware's intelligent application delivery controller, with Oracle E-Business Suite 12.0.

The validation testing was completed through the Oracle PartnerNetwork 'application integration architecture for partners' initiative.

Check Point Software Technologies says its Check Point IPS solutions can shield customers against exploits associated with the FTP service in Microsoft Internet Information Services vulnerability (IIS), SiliconIndia states.

"Exploit code of this vulnerability is available in the wild, meaning hackers could use the code to exploit IIS and remotely control a company's network," says Oded Gonda, VP of network security products at Check Point.

Microsoft IIS is a collection of Internet services packaged with several versions of the Windows operating system.
