With RedButton having strong internal development resources, the strategic decision to develop an in-house hotspot solution was taken a number of months ago. This has culminated in the first hotspot, powered by RedButton's billing solution, going live this week. Key benefits of the new system include, but are not limited to:
* Megabyte or time billing, it's your choice (all on prepaid);
* Customised branding of portal pages;
* Partner specific billing plans, complete with bulk discounts and more;
* Payment is done by credit card in South African rands;
* No monthly contracts are required; and
* Standard, inexpensive WiFi equipment are used to connect.
