Reunert is expecting to report a 40% to 50% increase in earnings and headline earnings per share for the year to 30 September.
For the previous financial year, Reunert achieved earnings per share of 251.92c and headline earnings of 277.5c a share.
The latest results are scheduled for publication on 15 November.
The group says in a shareholder update that favourable performances by its operations were the main factor affecting the growth in headline earnings per share.
"The share buyback completed during the previous financial year reduced the number of shares in issue and has contributed approximately 12% to the increase in headline earnings per share," it adds.
Reunert owns, among others, Nashua, Nashua Mobile, Saco Systems and CBI. It also has stakes in ATC, which includes African Cables and Siemens Telecommunications.
The Reunert share closed unchanged at 4 500c on the JSE yesterday.
