Ricoh unveils green office solution
Ricoh has unveiled its Total Green Office Solutions (TGOS) service, reports ProPrint.
The company describes TGOS as "a consultative service which helps businesses eliminate inefficiencies, reduce their carbon footprint and adopt a more sustainable business through detailed reporting on CO2 emissions, power consumption, and paper use".
"Climate change is such an important issue," says Ricoh Australia managing director Les Richardson. "We want to demonstrate how business, and specifically ours, can positively influence and educate the market in best practice green office solutions."
Telanetix, CallSource expand partnership
Communications solutions provider Telanetix has expanded its contract with CallSource, a provider of call tracking technologies, states eWeek.
Telanetix said it will provide CallSource with many of its business phone services, including local DID, toll-free, and US and international long distance, all based on Telanetix's nationwide VOIP network.
CallSource has been relying on the voice services of Telanetix for the past several years. The new contract with Telanetix represents an increase in service revenue of more than double the rate of the most recent 12 months, to approximately $2 million annually, the release stated.
OKI updates multifunction range
OKI Data Americas, which markets its products under the OKI Printing Solutions brand, announced the MB200 multifunction products (MFP) series, says Business Solutions.
With print speeds 30% faster than previous models, LDAP support on the MB290, and higher yielding consumables, the MB200 MFP series provides efficiency and cost-effectiveness previously unmatched in this category, according to OKI.
The new products can improve output of small workgroups by combining mono printing and copying, colour/mono scanning, scan-to capabilities and analogue faxing, while retaining a competitive total cost of ownership.
