Ringdale converts to PDF

Ringdale, a provider of network enhancing connectivity solutions, has released its ModuLAN FaxReceiver and DocuSender appliances, which can convert analogue documents to PDF files, states Market Watch.

This feature allows users to deliver documents from FaxReceiver and DocuSender that are independent of application software, hardware and operating systems.

Ringdale's line of modular, local area network fax appliances are aimed at environmentally conscious organisations that want to go green and are moving toward a paperless office.

Lexmark releases X658 MFPs

The Lexmark X658 family of monochrome laser multifunction products (MFPs) offers the robust design and rapid output speeds of large copiers in a smaller, more efficient device that saves office space and can lower the total cost of printing and boost productivity, says Market Watch.

The Lexmark X658 family, part of the new Lexmark X650 Series of monochrome laser MFPs, is targeted squarely at the high-growth A4 letter-size (8.5-inch x 11-inch) office segment.

Sales of A4 MFPs are growing quickly due to their many advantages over A3 tabloid-capable (11-inch x 17-inch) devices in most office environments. These advantages include cost, time and space-saving features.

Toshiba rolls out e-Bridge

Toshiba America Business Solutions (Tabs) has released the e-Bridge Open Platform Connectors for Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Office SharePoint, for all Toshiba Open Platform-enabled multifunction products, states Market Watch.

Developed directly by Toshiba, the solution will provide higher levels of third-party application integration with all of Toshiba's Open Platform-enabled MFPs.

"The definition of 'multifunction' continues to evolve for the traditional MFP. The development of these Open Platform Connectors allows Toshiba to create more truly customised MFP solutions to meet our customers' specific business needs," said Joe Contreras, director of Product and Solutions Marketing at Tabs.
