Riskonnect grows business
Independent risk management software company Riskonnect, says in spite of the economic recession, it has brought the cloud computing model to the risk management industry, reports Sys-con.
According to Riskonnect, the demand for its enterprise risk management has increased and the company has plans to recruit new staff this year.
Riskonnect CEO, Bob Morrell, says: “Risk management professionals are learning that there is an alternative to broker-owned risk management information systems and incident management systems.”
FTK releases LooKeys for e-gov
FTK Technologies has released a special version of its patented flagship software product LooKeys for e-governance applications in 10 Indian languages, reports Channel Times.
The e-governance LooKeys has a predictive virtual keyboard interface and will be available in two versions, namely standard (without Web cam and simulated hands feature) and professional (with Web cam and simulated hands feature).
Neeloy Roy Chowdhury, vice-president for marketing and sales at FTK Technologies, says: “LooKeys e-gov version takes into consideration the specific requirement and skill sets of the users in the government departments and ministries, who will now be able to use the application very efficiently and quickly.”
Varonis looks to data governance
Varonis Systems has unveiled DatAdvantage for SharePoint, a data governance solution which extends support to Microsoft SharePoint environments, states Business Wire.
Varonis says the product provides SharePoint administrators with complete visibility into user data access permissions across multiple sites so they can troubleshoot access problems and ensure access to data aligns with business needs.
