Alexander Forbes says that John Robins has been appointed as a non-executive director to its board.
Robins is currently non-executive chairman of UK-based Lane Clark & Peacock LLP, a highly respected actuarial consultancy firm recently acquired by Alexander Forbes.
Robins was previously group chief executive of Guardian Royal Exchange plc (GRE), which was acquired in 1999 by the multinational insurance group Axa. Prior to that he was group finance director of international insurance broker, Willis Corroon Group.
Robins is also chairman of consumer goods retailer, Austin Reed Group plc; and chairman of business process outsourcing group, Xchanging Limited.
