Sahara Computers, a supplier of information and communications technology (ICT) and digital lifestyle products, has released a new USB Flash Drive with 4GB storage capacity.
The latest device is the perfect mobile companion for those who thrive on instant communication, anytime, anywhere.
With 4GB, this plug-and-play portable storage device will allow the user to download, store and transport large files including graphics, video and music.
"Consumers benefit from the conventional advantages of flash memory, including the fact that the device does not require batteries or an external power supply. However, we have now introduced even greater storage capacity and a reliable, secure means of storing and sharing everything from data files right through to music and graphics," explains Gary Naidoo, deputy MD of Sahara Computers.
In 2005 Sahara enhanced its contribution towards the digital lifestyle market with the introduction of its 2GB USB Flash Drive.
"The 2GB model was well received in the market. Having doubled the capacity we are expecting a similar, if not better, response this time round," says Naidoo.
Digital lifestyle is one of the fastest growing areas of the market and is being driven by the need for higher performance personal mobile and wireless product.
"Personal storage is a critical contributing factor towards the digital lifestyle. Consumers want functionality, higher capacity, convenient and affordable product. A notebook or laptop is no longer a prerequisite to engage in digital communication - technology is an enabler and should be accessible to everyone," adds Naidoo.
