Samsung brings 9 Series to SA

Samsung Electronics has revealed its 9 Series laptop will be available in SA on 1 July.

According to the company, the 13.3-inch 9 Series is suited to mobile professionals and can be used for work and entertainment.

Says Philip Henning, a Samsung SA brand owner: “The 9 Series laptop successfully combines elegant styling, performance and ease of use in an ultra-thin and lightweight package.”

The 9 Series is made from material known as Duralumin, making the device twice as durable as aluminium, while maintaining a weight of 1.31kg, says Samsung.

The company adds that the LED-backlit screen offers users a high quality visual experience. According to Samsung, the laptop also features an automatically adjusting backlit keyboard that adapts to the surrounding light conditions.

Power-efficient lithium polymer batteries also ensure an average of up to 6.5 hours of battery life. Samsung says the lithium polymer batteries extend the life of the product and different settings, such as the “Battery Life Extender Mode” and “Express Charging Mode” allow users to get the most from their experience.

The company says the 9 Series laptop features USB 3.0, Bluetooth 3.0, 802.11b/g/n and USB Sleep & Charge technologies, making for convenient connectivity.
