Samsung intros printer leasing scheme

Samsung has introduced a 0% financing scheme for its business-focused printer portfolio in the UK, states Channel EMEA.

The offer rolled out with participating Samsung in the UK and Ireland at the start of June.

Samsung plans to roll out the initiative to more countries in Europe in the near future.

HP expands Eco Solutions programme

Hewlett-Packard announced several expansions to its HP Eco Solutions programme, including new products, services and operations, as well as company-wide environmental goals, reports CBR Online.

The company expects that the expanded portfolio of services would provide consumers, small and medium businesses and enterprises, including HP, with a clear return on investment through financial savings, as well as a “return on environment” through energy, carbon and waste savings.

HP's new offerings include a number of HP ProLiant G6 server platforms, new product design strategies to save 1 billion kWh of electricity and printing solutions for large organisations to help customers save money through lower paper and energy usage.

Kyocera Mita unveils SME solution

Kyocera Mita America, a document imaging company, has introduced the FS-C1020MFP, a colour multifunctional printer suited for small to medium businesses and shared workgroup environments, says Business Wire.

The FS-C1020MFP is a 21-page-per-minute colour solution offering standard paper-saving duplex printing and copying and features designed to improve workplace functionality in a cost-effective manner.

For organisations seeking to meet the demand for superior output quality while simultaneously managing costs, the FS-C1020MFP includes a 35-sheet document processor, a 250-sheet adjustable paper drawer, and 256MB of standard memory (upgradeable to 512MB) to ensure fast and efficient processing for printing, scanning, faxing and copying.
